Students will be sent home every day with their planner, informing you of homework assignments, etc.  Every Friday, they will be sent home with a folder containing work done during the week.  This should be brought back on Monday.  Also, each week I challenge the students to read 30 minutes a day.  They will also be given a log to record their reading time.

Here are a few helpful hints for parents to ensure a successful year.

• Check and sign the planner each night, making sure assignments are complete.

• Make sure your child completes the assignments that were not done in class.

• Take corrected assignments out of the Friday Envelope, sign the folder, and return it empty the following Monday.

• Sign the reading log each night - make sure to write down the number of minutes read.

• Practice Spelling and Multiplication weekly.

• Check the class webpage for announcements and to see what is going on in class.
